Gaura Prema Bhajan Band

Gestern Abend hatte ich das Vergnügen (danke Bhakti!) an das Konzert von Gaura Prema Bhajan Band zu gehen. Anfangs nicht sicher, ob wir überhaupt gehen sollten, da Elijah schon müde war, entschieden wir uns schlussendlich doch einzutreten.
Das erste Lied war ein Raga, gespielt von Cittra (indische Bambusflöte) und Ramananda (Tabla). Das war ein perfekter Einstieg, mit den wundervollen Klängen von Cittra’s Flöte.
Danach begann das eigentliche Konzert. Die Gruppe bestand aus ca. 8 Personen. Es wurden verschiedene Mantras vorgestellt, bei denen das Publikum aktiv mitsang. Die Erfahrung war toll. Das Publikum ging mit, die Stimmung im Raum war energiegeladen (obwohl es nur sehr wenige Leute waren).

Nach drei Mantren mussten wir gehen, da es für Elijah Zeit zu schlafen war. Die Mantren klingten aber noch die ganze Nacht weiter und so hat sich der Konzertbesuch wirklich gelohnt.
